When you visit another country you are under the laws of that particular country, which also means you are protected by the laws of that country.
The judicial system of Peru gives protection for medical malpractice. Sure, it is not like USA. You won’t get rich if you win a malpractice claim in your favor, but nevertheless you are protected by the law. So if your desire is to get wealthy by suing Peruvian doctors you won’t go far, but if you want to feel protected by the law, you will.
Besides; the doctors from Peru are not different from any other doctor from USA in that regard, THEY HATE TO BE SUED! So they avoid having any kind of problem with the attorneys. Just like their counterpart in USA.
Another thing to take in consideration is the reputation of the doctor and what their patients says about him. In this webpage you can check your doctor’s credentials. All these doctors are registered doctors in good standing in Peru and they are the best.

We can also provide you with some references and you will be able to call and talk to real people that have received the same type of surgery in Peru. They will be glad to tell you first hand all about their personal experience.  These people are not paid or given any kind of kickback to tell you their experiences. They’re honest people like you and are so excited about their experience that they are willing to relate it to others.Up
