1. How can I get an estimate for Cosmetic Surgery, Dental or LASIK?
You can get an idea of our prices if you click on the upper tab ‘Prices’, however if you want a customized estimate then Just click on the “Request your Evaluation” tab in this webpage and fill out the questionnaire and submit it to us with some pictures of the areas of your body where you want the work done, this will enable us to give you a ball park estimate. If this ball park estimate is close to your budget and you want to go ahead, then we’ll need more information about you and will ask you to e-mail us more photos of yourself and of the areas of your body that you want surgery or dental work and any other details that we need. We guarantee complete confidentiality.
After our professionals review your pictures, x-rays, etc., we will e-mail you a final proposal with all the details.
2.What do I need to do if I want to go ahead with the surgery?
If you decide to go ahead with the proposal, we’ll give you full instructions of how to arrange your trip including travel, surgery and stay in Peru. We’ll walk you through step by step.
3.Are Peruvian surgeons and medical facilities qualified enough?
All our surgeons and dentists are fully certified in Peru and/or other countries. Our facilities are state of the art, completely equipped with top quality modern equipment and are also kept well maintained and very clean.
4. I want to have Lasik surgery for my eyesight and some dental work but I don’t need any cosmetic surgery. Is it good idea for me to still go to Peru for just these two procedures?
Even if you just come to Peru for Dental work will be a good idea if your estimate for dental work is $10,000 or more in the USA.
5. Why are the prices in Peru so low?
Because the trade is about $1 dollar per 3 Soles (Peruvian money) the cost of living is Peru is very low when you earn Dollars or Euros.
6. How can I e-mail my picture to you?
You need to have a digital camera or a cell phone with a camera. It is very simple. Just take a picture and save it in your computer. Then attach those pictures to our Evaluation Form by clicking on the upper tab “Request your Evaluation" open it and click on “Attach a picture”. There you will browse in your computer files and find the picture and click on it. It will be attached! 7.Can I finance my surgery?
We do not offer any financing. We can only take cash or major credit cards. However, you don’t have to bring cash to Peru. In Peru there are ATM machines and you can access your bank and do withdrawals thru them. Just like USA. Keep in mind though that most of ATM tellers in Peru have a limit on withdrawals of $500 daily.
8.Do I need to pay for my surgery or procedure before going to Peru?
No, you pay after the doctor examines you in Peru and you are ready to go ahead with the medical procedure.
9. What about medical malpractice. Am I going to get stuck?
When you visit another country you are under the laws of that particular country, which also means you are protected by the laws of that country.
The judicial system of Peru gives protection for medical malpractice. Sure, it is not like USA. You won’t get rich if you win a malpractice claim in your favor, but nevertheless you are protected by the law. So if your desire is to get wealthy by suing Peruvian doctors you won’t go far, but if you want to feel protected by the law, you will.
Besides; the doctors from Peru are not different from any other doctor from USA in that regard, THEY HATE TO BE SUED! So they avoid having any kind of problem with the attorneys. Just like their counterpart in USA.
Another thing to take in consideration is the reputation of the doctor and what their patients says about him. In this webpage you can check your doctor’s credentials. All these doctors are registered doctors in good standing in Peru and they are the best.
The estimated price of the surgery is only for the surgeon’s services, facility usage & any materials. As complementary gift with your surgery or dental work and without any additional charge you’ll receive a tour of Lima and a dinner in a nice restaurant as a personal thank you from us.
For additional tourist excursions, we work with a reputable travel agency that can arrange your Peruvian tour. They can inform you of available tours and make all the arrangements, and itinerary for you before you arrive in Peru.
You will deal directly with them. They are independent from our services and you will pay them separately for any tourism package that you choose.
18. Where in Peru am I going to be?
You’ll be in San Borja, one of the best residential areas of Lima, the capital of Peru.
19. Should I need to be afraid of the crime in Lima, Peru?
Lima is a big city with more than six million inhabitants and sure, there is crime. However all nice residential and tourist areas are protected and under police watch. You’ll stay in San Borja, a nice residential area close to shopping centers and good restaurants. You don’t need to worry about it.
20. Can I bring a companion?
Actually it is a good idea to bring somebody with you that also may want to have some surgery, dental work or just tour Peru. The hotel expense can be shared, and it’s always nice to have a familiar face around.
21. What language do the Peruvian people speak? How can I communicate?
Peru is a Hispanic country, so the language spoke here is
Spanish. In the mountain of Peru the Indians speak Quechua, that is the language of the Incas, the old Peruvians.
The people of Peru are lovely and very kind and will make you feel welcome. The hotel staff speak English.
During your consultations and surgical procedure you will be accompanied by a bilingual Peruvian representative. We also have English speaking representatives available if you would like a private guide for day’s tours or shopping assistance, for a small fee.
22. Do the Peruvian doctors speak English?
Some of the doctors do speak English. However you will be assigned a bi-lingual hostess and she will be your contact between the doctors and yourself.
23. How do I get from the airport to my hotel, clinic and tourist places, etc., if I don’t know my way around Peru?
A bi-lingual representative will meet you at the airport and will take you to your hotel, clinic and tour buses. Not to worry, we’ll take good care of you.
24. What if I need to postpone my trip due to personal reasons?
That’s not a problem with us. We’ll see you here when you’re ready. We don’t require a deposit so you don’t have to worry about it. Of course, you will have to make necessary changes with your air ticket and hotel though.
25. Do I need a passport and visa?
Yes you do. But, don’t worry you can get the Visa once you get here in Peru. At the airport
26. What will happen once I get to Peru?
Leave everything on our hands”, since your arrival, a friendly welcome, transportation and Clinic; the best team of plastic surgeons will be waiting for you. The bilingual executive staff of REAL BELLEZZA will receive you at the airport for transferring you to your hotel. The analysis service will appear at your room in order to take some samples of blood and surgical risk (cardiologist). You will be immediately evaluated by the surgical medical team to fine-tune the details of the surgery selected preparing a schedule at least in 24 hours for restoring the venous circulation of the lower limbs originated by the trip. The executive bilingual will be in charge of transferring you to the assistance center and to be admitted and accompanied during the whole process of the surgery and recovery. The maximum time of hospitalization is 48 hours. You will subsequently go back to your hotel with the company of the Real Bellezza’s executive. The doctor will check up regular on you while in recovery.
